Gardens and plotting...
I’ve mentioned before that I have a large garden. Sitting among by growing plants is one of the things I do to relax. It is also a place where I can let my mind wander and think of story plots.
At this time of the year my garden is covered in snow, a very sad sight from my window. I still have a need to grow something. This year I discovered the Aero Miracle Grow system. It is a hydroponic growing system that lets me grow vegetables on my kitchen counter. I have grown bell peppers, cooking herbs, medicinal herbs, and lettuce. It was this little machine that gave me the idea for my character, Harper Castille, the botanist in THE LAST CHRISTMAS ON EARTH.
